Welcome to the dance centre of Northern Norway

We promote dance as an artform in Northern Norway and give preference to companies working, living or touring in Northern Norway. Dansearena nord is a centre for dance and contemporary performing Arts with both a national and international orientation.

We offer residencies to dance artists and contemporary performing artists consisting of a studio and a house in Hammerfest. You will find information regarding artist in residence here.

We have a broad network both nationally and internationally, but our main focus is towards the Norwegian dance scene. If you have questions regarding our work, please contact one of us.  

Studio and administration is placed at the Arctic Cultural Centre in Hammerfest.
